The business started at our primary home in 2016 in 372342 Quarter Townline, Tillsonburg, Ontario N4G 4H1. We started with less than six residents offering the same services we currently offer, at a relatively smaller scale. We were licensed by the Organization Of Retirement Community Association (ORCA) at the time.
Most of the individuals don’t like the institutional style settings which is the most common in the neighborhood and community around us. Most seniors prefer to be in their homes to avoid being in an institutional environment and setting which results in isolation, boredom and sometimes abuse by trusted relatives or caregivers
Our Supportive housing offers a stable, home-like environment for individuals who need help with daily living while maintaining their independence. It combines comfortable accommodation with personalized support such as assistance with personal care, medication management, meal preparation, and access to wellness programs. Designed to promote safety, dignity, and connection, supportive housing provides the right balance of care and autonomy in a community that feels like home.
We helped my friend who is in his 80’s move into this retirement home on July 1, 2021. EVERYTHING about our experience has been positive. Now that he has been there a few days he has marveled at how wonderful all the staff is, the food is great, and his experience is one of relief. It’s a big transition and choice in one's life, and this place has been an answered prayer. Thanks, Sola & Elizabeth, Nikki, and haleena, for the amazing staff who are treating Billy as “one of the family “. Sincerely, Leslie P
We chose Dayspring Residence because we saw several others and she felt most comfortable here due to the staff members. They have a variety of apartment sizes, the one we have is a little on the smaller side. The staff are very attentive, and the food is great. I would recommend them to others looking. Great Choice!! Awesome staff??
Country setting is ideal for a serene easy-going lifestyle... yet close enough to town for essential services. A very nice place to call home, with clean rooms and friendly service providers.
The staff are amazing and it's very evident that they love the work that they do. They are emotionally invested in keeping the residents happy and comfortable. They prepared delicious and very nutritional meals with yummy comfort food and new and interesting alternatives. Unfortunately, I wanted my mother closer to me and I am a resident of London. Both my husband and I work full time and we have a child with special needs. It was just too difficult to travel back and forth. So, we have had to move my mother to another facility here in London. In the words of my mother and I quote" If I had lots of money we would pick the whole place up and move it (everyone)to London.
